Graduating from high school--my first grade teacher read my name as I crossed the stage.
I think my sister took this picture. I have no idea where I am in it, but I know that I was on the other side of the gym. It was miserably humid and threatening to rain, so we had to have the ceremony inside. It was awful.
My dad got me a commemorative brick in the school courtyard.
This was my class song (I don't know why):
I thought it should have been this:
But this song was flooding the airwaves at the time:
My class song was "Higher". By Creed. Our class motto was a quote from Forrest Gump. I don't think it's a big mystery why I haven't kept in touch with my classmates.
Our reunion is this summer. I'd rather give myself an appendectomy then go.
That vit c song is a cool video. I am class of 1988 and my best friend from High School are trying to schedule when we can see the new Sex in the City movie. A little more complicated with Husbands and kids to think of. Proof that friends from H.S. can stay friends:-)

Hi there! Thanks for coming and following my blog. I love your kitty pictures. What adorable little meow meows! I'll have to post pictures of my cats.
I was class of 2000 also! Wow, I'd totally forgotten about that Graduation song. That totally brought back memories...

Isn't it crazy how time flies? My 10 year was in 2006. I'm old. Will you be attending your reunion??
I seem to remember voting for "The Kids Aren't Alright" with Kraushaar. Needless to say we were the minority.
With Doc and Mr D away this year though, it's a whole new world in OHS these days.
The V.
I was just thinking the same thing yesterday! It's been nine years for me, and I hated that Vitamin C song!
Has it really been 10 years since that Vitamin C song?? My goodness, time flies.. Great memories though
Best,
Hannah Katy
Happy Gradiversary! And honestly, you just brought all those memories of Vitamin C screaming back to me! Gotta love our generations' fav grad song!
Ours was Greenday "Time of Your Life." Could it BE any cheesier? ;-)

ugh.
the vitamin C song made me laugh, I had completely forgotten it!
(I was a '00 HS grad too!)
